5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
5.1 What We Use
Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies to distinguish you from other visitors and to improve your experience. Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We use the following categories of cookies:
- Essential Cookies: Required for the Site to function correctly. These cannot be disabled without impairing Site functionality.
- Analytics Cookies: Used to collect aggregate, anonymized data about how visitors interact with the Site (e.g., pages viewed, time on site). We use this data solely for internal improvement purposes.
- Preference Cookies: Allow the Site to remember choices you make (e.g., language or region) to provide a more personalized experience.
5.2 Managing Cookies
You may control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies, delete existing cookies, or be notified when a cookie is set. Please note that disabling certain cookies may limit your ability to use some features of the Site.
You may also opt out of analytics tracking specifically through standard browser controls or available opt-out tools such as the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on (available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
For more information about managing cookies generally, visit your browser’s help documentation or www.aboutcookies.org.
5.3 Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Our Site does not currently alter its data collection practices in response to DNT signals, as there is no uniform industry standard for how such signals should be interpreted. We will revisit this position if a consensus standard emerges.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, as required by applicable law, or as needed to resolve disputes and enforce agreements. In practice:
- Contact form submissions and related correspondence are retained for a period sufficient to address the inquiry and maintain an appropriate business record, generally not exceeding three (3) years from last contact unless an active business relationship continues.
- Technical log data and analytics data are retained in aggregate, anonymized form for trend analysis purposes.
